Welcome to La Noyeraie Rocamadour, we are a family run Chambres d'Hôtes set in several hectares of Walnut Orchards and Parkland, our guests are always more than welcome to wander amongst the 100 or 20 walnut trees and ancient oaks. Our Walnut Trees provide the walnuts in your salad should you choose to eat with us, and are completely organic. We are ideally situated in the beautiful countryside surrounding Rocamadour's Medieval City, less than 5 minutes from the City itself, and just 15 minutes from the amazing Gouffre de Padirac and other stunning locations. See the Location, Activities and Events Page for more ideas on the perfect places to visit.

The 140 year old farmhouse houses the Chambres d'Hôtes itself with its 2 Family Suites, Family Room, 3 en suite Double Rooms and also one of our 2 Independent Studio Apartments, the other of which is situated in the Ancient Porcherie (literal translation Pig Barn!) now beautifully renovated to provide our other Independent Studio Apartment with its own private terrace (which they both have); more details of the Studios are on their own page on the website. We do not have televisions or radios in any of the rooms as we prefer to provide our guests with a calm and tranquil atmosphere at La Noyeraie Rocamadour, conducive to a relaxing stay here. Although we do provide Free WIFI should you wish to catch up on essential emails or internet access. There is good coverage in most of the rooms, sometimes the external Garden Studio does struggle inside, although the terrace is fine. The Main Terrace and Garden has plenty of tables and chairs and our guests are always welcome to use these.

We welcome everyone here at La Noyeraie Rocamadour and have 2 Private Car Parks exclusively for our guests, free of charge and on-site, including a secure garage for motorcycles and bicycles if required. We are bikers ourselves so we understand the desire for security, even though there is little crime in the area, we are also more than happy to point out some amazing rides (and drives of course!) in the amazing Department of the Lot.

Pets are always made very welcome here and although we make a small charge for this, the charge simply covers the additional products used in the rooms after each visit, for your added peace of mind as well.

Please do avail yourself of our Table d'Hôtes Evening Meal, perfect after a day's travel and allows you to relax on our terrace with a glass of local Cahors wine while you are served our locally sourced and where possible, home-grown, dinner.

Have a browse through the pages, and contact us if you want us to tailor your needs to your stay, we can take payments in cash, cheque or through Paypal (credit cards may also be used through Paypal but there is a charge for this). We can also take payments in UK sterling.

We rode through Rocamadour on our motorbikes back in 2008 and stayed here as part of our honeymoon tour of France. We fell in love with the area, the people and the way of life here. We are from Yorkshire and there have been many comments on the similarity of the area here to the Dales back home, dry stone wall, rolling hills, stunning scenery and superb roads. The people here have been very welcoming and we have made many friends since moving here at the end of 2009 and renovating our 140 year old farmhouse. The recent additions to our family (our twin boys) were a wonderful surprise, and the various dogs and cats and chickens that have made this their home too add to the family atmosphere that our guests seem to enjoy. We are bikers and although we have yet to ride all the roads in this amazing area, we can recommend routes and make suggestions based on our past tours.
